Register for the 2010 CPH Exam!
Registration is open for the third certification in public health (CPH) exam, which will be held August 6-28, 2010. Graduates from CEPH-accredited schools and programs of public health are encouraged to sit for the exam, which is the result of a multi-decade effort to heighten the visibility of the public health profession and to standardize core public health knowledge across core disciplines. Register online at www.publichealthexam.org and take the exam at one of 300 test centers in the U.S. or at a site overseas.
The exam tests a candidate’s knowledge of the five core areas and seven cross-cutting competencies in public health.
To be eligible for the CPH exam you must have graduated from a CEPH-accredited school or program in public health (see the list here). Those graduating in 2010 must have completed all degree requirements on or before July 31, 2010.
The early registration rate of $350 is available from October 1-November 22, 2009. The regular registration rate of $400 is available from November 23, 2009-April 30, 2010. For more information, visit www.publichealthexam.org.
