Dr. David Buchanan, professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst School of Public Health and Health Sciences, is presenting a paper on the “Complementary Roles of Public Health & Medicine in the U.S. Health Care System” at an international conference on Advancing Public Health Knowledge & Research on Global Health Issues to be held at Novgorod State University during the week of May 17-22. The conference is part of a three-year grant to the Institute for Global Health, funded by the Fund for the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education (FIPSE), of the U.S. Department of Education.
