Centralized Application Service Advisory Committee Site Visits
This week, several members of the ASPH Centralized Application Service (CAS) Advisory Committee visited several schools of public health to present on the development of a Centralized Application Service for Schools of Public Health.
CAS Committee member Dr. Arthur Culbert (Boston) and ASPH staffer Allison Foster met with faculty and staff of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Public Health on Tuesday, May 2 . We would like to extend our thanks to both Dean Gotsch and Dr. Mark Robson for hosting this site visit.
Also on Tuesday, CAS Committee member Mr. Vincent James (Harvard) met with the University of Texas - Houston SPH and the Texas A&M School of Rural Public Health. Mr. James met with Dr. Mary Ann Smith and staff from the student affairs and admissions offices. At the Texas A&M Rural School of Public Health, Mr. James met with Dr. Kenneth McLeroy and staff from the registrar and student affairs offices. Thanks to Dr. Smith and Dr. McLeroy for hosting both of these meetings.
At all of these meetings, ASPH CAS Committee members presented on the CAS development process and how a CAS might work for schools of public health. These meetings gave the host schools the opportunity to ask questions of particular relevance to their school or university.
Any schools wishing to schedule a site visit should contact Allison Foster at email@example.com.
