Epidemiologic Reviews 2010 Theme Issue Call for Papers—Submit during July 2009

Epidemiologic Reviews, a sister publication of the American Journal of Epidemiology, is devoted to publishing comprehensive and critical reviews on specific themes once a year. The theme of the 2010 issue will be "Epidemiologic Approaches to Global Health." Manuscript submissions will be accepted only during the month of July.

Submission of manuscripts is solicited on such topics as:

  • HIV/AIDS;
  • Malaria;
  • Tuberculosis;
  • Tobacco use;
  • Neglected tropical diseases;
  • Influenza;
  • Reproductive health and related issues;
  • Maternal and child health;
  • Infant mortality;
  • Nutrition;
  • Injuries and disaster relief;
  • Economics and equity issues in global health; and
  • Environment.

Please note that papers on other aspects of global health are welcome. Manuscripts can be up to 6,000 words exclusive of the abstract, tables, figures and references. Give explicit details of the method of literature search, and use systematic reviews or meta-analysis when appropriate. To consult the journal web site for acceptable format, please click here.
