Meet the Leaders Expert Panel, Drexel’s Dean Gold Featured—April 20, 2009
Dean Marla Gold of the Drexel School of Public Health will be a member of a panel discussion as part of the WMC/MCP Trust Fund Meet the Leaders Program on Monday, April 20 from 6-8:30 p.m. (Eastern) at the Drexel University College of Medicine (2900 Queen Lane). The panel is hosted by Drexel University College of Medicine's Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) Program for Women, a core program of the Institute for Women’s Health and Leadership.
In addition to Dean Gold, the following additional 2008-09 ELAM Fellows will also participate in the panel discussion, followed by an informal discussion about career paths, opportunities and experiences:
- Ms. Uma Kotagal, senior vice president for quality and transformation and professor of pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology at University of Cincinnati;
- Dr. Lisa Tedesco, vice provost for graduate studies/academic affairs and dean of the graduate school of arts and sciences at Emory University; and
- Dr. Karen West, dean of the Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine at the University of Nevada.
